Renaissance Faire Poster

Here is a conceptual poster I created for a hypothetical Renaissance Faire located at the Clark County Fairgrounds. This poster was an experimental, passion piece designed not only to explore my curiosity about Renaissance Faires but also to practice the specific design challenges of creating an engaging event poster. The entire static poster was developed using Adobe Illustrator. I leveraged Adobe's generative AI features to create the initial concept for the central knight figure. To build out the background and peripheral details, I incorporated elements sourced from various other AI illustrations, which served as foundational base layers that were then heavily altered, changed, and refined manually to fit the desired aesthetic. After completing the static design, I brought the asset into Adobe After Effects to produce an animated version, which can be viewed on the following slide.

Despite the criticized utilization of AI for initial elements, the core design work and final execution are entirely my own. I am particularly proud of the custom title text, which I crafted by heavily editing an existing font type to achieve a unique, bespoke logotype that perfectly suits the theme. This project demonstrates my ability to integrate emerging technologies responsibly into a traditional workflow, maintaining artistic control while utilizing diverse tools to achieve a polished, professional outcome.
